Elder Head in the Philippines - Week 17 - A hardworking week :)

So my new comp and I get along really well and we are working really hard. This week we had the opportunity to take some of our investigators to the temple with the ward for the ward temple day. Unfortunately, we couldn't get everyone to stand still long enough to get pictures, but I got a few pictures that I'll send to Momma :) So we've been doing tracting this week, but we've been trying it a little differently. Every time we're about to start our tracting, we say a prayer before hand to help us to look for people with the spirit. So after that we just talk to everyone. We have a lot more lessons set up for next week so that's exciting! Also we're trying to help get a group set up in Pilit which is a part of the sisters' area that has a lot of less actives that say they can't make it to church cause they don't have money for plete. They say that if there was church closer, they would go to church so we're gonna test it out next week. This first week with Elder Heimuli is going really well! We've been getting him more acquainted with the ward and with some of the less actives so that they're more comfortable. He's a really hard worker so I'm excited to continue the work! So Brother Xavier and Sister Grace came to church this week after they spent the whole day with the ward at the temple on Saturday and we'll follow up with them on how they liked it tomorrow when we have our appointment with them! They are cousins and at first Brother Xavier was the only one interested, but Sister Mary Grace listened in on a few and then we started teaching her. So hopefully we can continue to help them grow their testimonies and come closer to Christ through baptism. Funny happening of the week, we taught our ward this funny game called "The moon is round" I'll teach you guys someday but it drove them CRAZY trying to find out the secret. We had a Family Home Evening at a less active member family's home and they all figured it out besides one of the young men and he kept trying to figure it out and he kept starting out wrong so the other youth would stop him and after a while he started "The moon in round.." The rest of the youth would yell "SAYOP LAGI!!" to his freaking out like "NGANO MAN!?!?" for a solid minute. Then they told him and he freaked out cause he finally figured it out. It was super funny. I guess you had to be there. Haha.. But I'm doing well! I'm getting up early, working out, learning, improving, teaching. Our teaching pool is getting bigger and we have a lot more people to teach. Our ward mission leader is really involved and helps us out a lot. I'm excited to keep working and I'm so grateful to be here in the best country in the world (Outside of the good ol' U.S of A) and doing the most worthwhile work anyone could do on the face of the earth. I'm grateful to be a part of this church and to be serving in the best mission in the world. Much Love. The Church is true.  Happy Birthday to Hold and Viv!
